Total Rush are seeking to add an additional Senior Bicycle Sales guru to our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the best cycling stores in Australia and Melbourne's Premium destination for all things Specialized Bicycles.
This sales role would suit someone with bicycle retail experience wanting to continue their development, or a more experienced applicant wanting to progress in their career towards a management level.
Our team is made up of cyclists who are passionate about riding their bikes and about promoting the cycling lifestyle to everyone from beginners buying their first bike, to those with a different bike for every day of the week, and competitive athletes!

About the role:
As a Senior Bicycle Retail Sales Assistant at Total Rush, you will play a key role in the success of the business by helping customers achieve their goals/needs through premium customer service and experience. This full-time position is based in our store located in Richmond, Victoria.
With a large online presence and an intention to grow in this direction, we are ideally looking for someone with experience with managing inventory in lightspeed, and ecommerce platforms such as Shopify or Lightspeed eCom C-Series. While not mandatory, strong computer systems proficiency and a willingness to develop in this area is preferable.
Are you:
- Passionate about cycling?
- Well presented, with excellent organisation and communication skills?
- Great with people, with proven experience working as an integral part of a team?
- Confident and self-motivated, with initiative & common sense?
Do you:
- Have at least 2 year's bicycle retail experience?
- Have additional transferrable education or skills?
- Have bike product and technical knowledge (Specialized product training is a plus!)?
- Have great computer skills and the ability to pick up new systems fast?
- Have experience with online sales and inventory keeping?
- Have excellent attention to detail?
- Have the right to work in Australia?
This varied role will include:
- Assisting customers with products and service enquiries.
- Answering and dealing with phone & email enquiries.
- Maintaining the store appearance, including re-stocking, and cleaning.
- Liaising with the team and the owner to assist where needed.
- Maintaining the website, inventory, and floor plans.
- Rotating roster, with Saturday availability required.

For the right candidate, this role has some flexibility on days/number of hours although Saturdays are typically required. Depending on your skillset, this role has the potential to grow into a Store Manager position.
Remuneration will be discussed with successful candidates and will be based on experience, but includes free coffee from our Rush Cafe!
